This course grants 1.2 CEUs and 12 AICP CM credits. (AICP credits pending approval)

This new online course is intended to introduce practitioners to the fundamentals of lower-carbon vehicle and fuel/energy systems--low-carbon solutions for a growing world. The transportation sector in the U.S. accounts for approximately 30% of national greenhouse gas emissions, and even more in California. The U.S. uses approximately 25% of the petroleum used in the world but only has about 5% of the world's population. Transportation technologies and strategies are emerging that can help to meet climate and energy security challenges.
