Description

The annual Work Zone Traffic Safety Conference provides a forum for public agency staff to meet with Caltrans and traffic control industry representatives. This event will showcase new work zone products and ideas for improving work zone safety. The conference will also highlight the newest work zone innovations, including those currently under research and development.

New this year, we will have three workshops you can choose from for the afternoon session:

Who Should Attend

This conference is for road construction and maintenance crews and their supervisors who are expected to work in and around the public street right-of-way and are responsible for the implementation of traffic safety control plans in the field. This conference will also benefit traffic/civil engineers, public works inspectors who design, direct, and inspect construction and maintenance work done on public streets. Utility company workers and contractors, who frequently do maintenance work within the public street right-of-way, will also benefit from this conference
